Siamo stati "invitati" a visionare il locale, come è uso da queste parti, e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla voce vibrante della cantante. Personale affabile ha saputo consigliare cosa portarci. Ottima scelta. Il locale è carino ma non particolarmente caratteristico. Prezzi nella norma. Pleasant experience. Good food, throbbing live music. We were "invited" to see the place, as is the custom in these parts, and we were struck by the vibrant voice of the singer. Friendly staff were able to advise what to bring. Good choice. The place is nice but not particularly characteristic. Prices in the norm.

L'unica cosa strana, ma un po' ovunque qui a Lisbona, è che l'acqua costa tantissimo e te la portano in bottiglie minuscole da 25cl... Basta saperlo! Fado is beautiful here, the atmosphere truly engaging. You eat very well, especially the octopus. The only strange thing, but almost everywhere here in Lisbon, is that the water costs a lot and they bring it to you in tiny 25cl bottles ... Just know it!

We got pulled off the street by an employee claiming there was a free fado show, and that we only had to pay for food. We weren't motivated enough to look for another place so we went inside. We ordered two bottles of wine for 4 people and then soups and some other appetizers. After we had received the wine, the server informed us that there was a 10 euro performance fee if you didn't order food, and that our soups and appetizers didn't count as food. We decided to just suck it up and pay the fee, but were disappointed that we had been caught in a tourist trap. Finally, the music started late and they only performed 3 songs before taking a long break. When the food arrived, it was mostly terrible. I received the wrong soup, and my friend's seafood soup was nothing more than broth and bones with absolutely no meat. They were out of the ham dish that another friend ordered, so he asked for cheese instead with our bread. The cheese did not come sliced, but in a large chunk with the sticker still on it. When we got the bill, they had double charged for a sparkling water (which we had to ask for twice), and on top of the 10 euro fee there was also a 3 euro cover charge for each of us. Overall, a total rip off.

J	JP Tucci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go here. We were lured in off the street from a man outside who promised a free fado show. The food we ordered was terrible. Additionally when we saw the bill, we found that they had charged us a 10 euro performance fee because we had apparently not order enough food per person. On top of that fee, there was a 3 euro cover charge per person as well. The fado singers were lovely but it is absolutely not worth it to have to deal with this restaurant to hear them perform. Go somewhere else.
E	Evan Terry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been here a few times and the my last visit left a sour taste in my mouth. The food is mediocre at best and the wine list is overpriced. They up sell the wine and then bring you the same bottle as their house wine with a 10€ markup. Their food is large portions, but it doesn't make up for it being mediocre. The Fado music that they play lasts a few minutes every 20-30 minutes. It's annoying because you are there for an hour and they will perform for about 6-10 minutes within that hour. I would highly recommend staying away from this place. After living in Lisbon and experiencing other places, this is one I'll never go back.
