Beautiful campsite with lovely owners and super clean bathrooms! 12 spots for camping cars and a very special tent area.

Wonderful location, nice tent site in the vineyard with a lot of shadow and a wonderful view. Comfortable and clean bathrooms. Most importantly a great welcome from the owners and an amazing bar with good quality wine at a good price. Very cool also the possibility to have fresh bread and croissants directly from the bakery in the morning.

First of all great owners who have set this hotel and camping on an ex-vineyard. They are very caring of every single details and speak several languages. It is super clean, the view is magnificent, and they are very helpful and friendly to organize your visit in the Douro Valley. We love the place and the people so much than we came back for another night! Obrigado

We stayed here in september 2021 for one night. Very nice place with friendly owners, who like to give advise about the surrounding and serve very good wine. Increadible clean sanitair. Highly recommended, for a group visit this would also be a great place to stay.

One of the best campings we've ever visited! We originally planned to stay for a two or three nights but stayed for more than a week. Incredibly nice and very caring owners, very nice setting of a centuries-old ex-vineyard, great views on the Douro Valley, nice pitches for tents on terraces (flat, soft lawn) protected from winds by vine hedges but still offering a great view. Tent pitches are only 20 to 50 meters from car parking. Toilets and douches are as tidy as they could possibly be. The owners also provide nice local fresh bread rolls and croissants for breakfast and great Portuguese food for lunch and dinner for very fair prices as well as a decent selection of local wines. The campsite is dog-friendly. The only thing that we missed a bit was a playground for kids. The whole campsite and a small hotel is run by only two people, husband (Nuno) and wife (Clara), sometimes working for over 15 hours a day 7 days a week. Occasionally, their adult son (a dentist, if I understood it correctly) helps around in the afternoon. That way they manage to keep the prices reasonably low while meeting highest quality standards. Clara fluently speaks English, French and Spanish besides Portuguese, and also some Italian, German and Dutch (I hope I didn't miss a language), and knows a great deal about most interesting trails, sites and activities for tourists in Douro Valley.

Absolute wonderful campground! The coupe who runs the place is super friendly. A cosy bar on site. Quite small so it may be good to call in advance.

Fantastic place, wonderful view over the valley , cosy terrace (outside) and bar (inside), short walk to the famous sanctuary of Lamego from where you can walk down to the city (and back up 600 steps, a good workout!) . Adorable owners, very good showers , impeccably clean. We were with a campervan, but must be great with a tent also .

A step up from the usual campsite. Beautiful lounge and bar available with expert advice from hostess Clara on wines and ports. Great views: nice walk through wood to vinyard or onto the sanctuary (church). 500 steps from it to the esplanade of Lamego town below..
