P	PETE GAZZARD on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review relates to camping in a motorhome, not in one of the lodges. Rio Alto is a typical Orbitur run site, staff are friendly and facilities are good, not excellent, but quite acceptable. Here, the site has access to the nearby beach through a tunnel under the adjacent golf course. I haven't given five stars as access to the site is via two or three kilometers of cobbled road, not fun in a motorhome and the nearest population centre is a 50 minute walk. Also, the site is a bit soulless in places, it being quite open. It feels a bit like camping in a car park.
D	Dessislava Taneva on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very nice camping. It's perfect place to rest after a long walk on Camino way. They have special piligrim's menu for 10€ + 11€ for accomodation. Its very good as an offer. As tbe camping have many facilities uoh can use+ swimming pool and costside by the ocen. Perfect choice!
R	Rose Attwood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cabins were good but our highlight was the restaurant. We ordered the pilgrims menu and for 10 euro we had an excellent 4 course meal plus a glass of wine. Best meal we’ve had so far. Lily was extremely helpful and friendly and the restaurant was a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend this place.

Realy nice service and the pilgrim menu, was not like a normal one, you would eat somewhere in a normal hostel, it was high quality food you normaly get in a really good reastaurant. I had for the main dish Seafood, my bf Tortelini. Everything very fresh and selfmade with a good glas of wine. The Restaurant is operated by two Sisters who really seam to be very passionate about what they do. Good luck for the future! :)
M	Monica Dan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not wanna be too harsh and I would start saying that all staff was kind and helpful.It is defenitely not staff s fault that this camp site needs a lot of TLC/money to invest in .We drove more than 2500km and based on the reviews we read before ariving we thought that for a couple of days we would stay in this camp site, resting before heading to Porto and further south.Campervan plots have no privacy at all, area looks grim and dry; green plants to freshen up the space are needed ; the restaurant itself is soooooo outdated ,loud disco music while serving lunch but food was quite lovely (I have to mention I had the best orange juice there). The so called "mini market" had mainly preserved food ,no fruits nor fresh bread.Facilities were not bad and prices afordable.All in one, we did not dislike this place but we would prefere to pay few € extra and to go to to a better one.

C	Cristian Chiriac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The canteen was a great surprise! For 12.5 eur per person we had a fabulous lunch, like in a 5 stars restaurant! The lady managing the canteen served the cream soup with a flambé full chorizo ?. Second course was a huge portion of meat with rice, fries and salad. Delicious cake for desert plus a coffee or beer. I really recommend this stop if you walk from Povoa de Varzim to Esposende!
K	KEHIN DEGLI ESPOSTI on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shower and services not accessible if you don't stay for the night, which is really expensive. They rather loose a customer than have an income. Services should be accessible paying a fee, not fair.
