O abrigo "Bem-estar animal" situa-se em Loulé perto do Mar Shopping, com cerca de 345 cães.
Características dos cães existentes neste abrigo:
- cães com deficiências mentais e físicas - têm um cão que apenas tem uma pata mas que se move sem qualquer problema e é um doce;
- cães bastante idosos com múltiplas patologias que nunca serão adotados (artrites, invisuais, epilepsia);
- cães em final de vida (paliativos);
- muitos cães de raça que foram considerados perigosos e estavam para abate...
Essencialmente é um abrigo que se dedica a cães que "ninguém quer", sendo proporcionado alguma dignidade até final de vida.
