★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food. Crunchy Samosas and lamb curry was tender with an amazing sauce. The fire sauce was super spicy and flavorful. Friendly and jovial staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I fell in love with this charming little place. I decided to come here after watching one of Mark Wiens videos and I am very happy I did so. For starters I had the chamussas with the spicy piri piri sauce and oh my… be careful ? Very delicious but incredibly spicy. For main course I had the lamb ribs and it was very nice and tender. I finished everything with a super delicious dessert called bebinka.
The cuisine is mainly african (Mozambique) and this was my first time trying african food. I enjoyed every minute here and the staff made it even better since they were so friendly and cheerful.
I highly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, I'll say that this restaurant is in a really cute spot, nestled in the cool angles of a few different buildings. The food is not so great, however. We got there about 15 minutes after they first opened and they still didn't have about 5 or 6 dishes on their short menu. There are only two dishes for vegetarians and the one I wanted wasn't available.
They forgot about my vegetable pakora, and when they brought it after I reminded them, it was a meat pakora. By then I was ready to leave and asked them to just take it off the bill. Instead they made us wait. I asked it for take away, it wasn't. When I ate the pakora the next day, it was pretty tasty, but it was just filled with corn, so, not a pakora.
Overall, a very disappointing dining experience. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cantinho do Aziz is a peculiar place, very original, with a relaxing atmosphere, a place where you feel very welcome. The menu is full of options, specially if you are a seafood lover. It’s worth the price and food quality, which is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved this place and Sebastian (who has the greatest name in the world). The lamb ribs were perfectly done. Careful with that hot sauce that comes with the Chamussas though ??? You can also drink Mozambican beer which I've never tried before

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yaas, our Portuguese pal brought us here a couple of times and the food is amazing! First time we had a prawn, crab and mussel dish with rice (one portion is enough for 2 people) and it was so good, we wanted it again but they'd run out when we went the second time! So I tried the prawn and okra dish and the other half had the peanut chicken dish instead which was just as good.
I really love their rose sangria too, my fave so far!
A couple of the servers are not great with English (not a problem, more of a heads up what to expect) but still friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chamussas were amazing! So were the lamb ribs, with the meat falling off the bone. I highly recommend this hidden gem in Lisbon. Enjoy your food with a Mozambican beer while there as well, you won't be disappointed.
