★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic staff, very efficient and polite. Although the menu is rich, the Francesinha turns out to be a delicateness. They make it in a traditional simple way following the snack type of food that you feel like you want to repeat. Join to the dish a local beer 'fino' and chips as sider to make it a full experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best Franceshinha in Porto!! It's a bit away from the city center but it was so worth it. Went there twice during my short stay. I will come back to Porto just to eat at this place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw this place after an awesome photo op at the nearby church. But the food (my dish was the barbecue chicken - and there was lots of it, that came with both rice and fries) was very good. Simple neal with some cool flavors.
The english menu said the dish was 3.95 euros, but I was charged 4.50 euros. Apparently the Portuguese menus were updated, but the english version menus were outdated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is what I would call a typical Portuguese restaurant/cafe. It serves both pastries and coffee as well as traditional Portuguese dishes. It is located directly next to the Bonfim church and is around 10mins away from both the metro stations Campanha and 24 de agosto. Service was fast and friendly and the Prego no Prato that I ordered was delicious. The meat was juicy and easy to cut, the rice eas flavourful and the potatoes were crispy. They have a nice selection of pastries as well and prices are low. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and want to experience traditional Portuguese cuisine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very special place with nice service. We felt like special guests. The coffee was great. They say that they have the best Francesinha in Porto but I can recommend pancakes with ice-cream

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place on Google Maps so feel obliged to give feedback -
First time to have the francesinha so we ordered the standard one and a veggie one. Trust me, don't even bother with the veggie one here. The standard is VERY GOOD. Also got a bottle of green wine, which was new to me. Didn't love it, didn't hate it, worth a try. Not sure why others are dissing on the fries, thought they were good. Service was kind and patient with our little family and lack of Portuguese.
