Em 1931, a Ermida de Santa Marinha apresentava sinais de abandono, razão pela qual um morador da freguesia de Perosinho do lugar de Sergueiros169, ofereceu mil
escudos para ajudar na reforma170. Sobre a alçada do Prior D. Vicente da Gama (1555-1558) foi mandado fazer um retábulo que não sabemos se ainda existe porque não conseguimos ter acesso ao interior da capela, impossibilitando o registo e a confirmação também da imagem da Santa Marinha encomendada por esta altura ao escultor João de Ruam.
