No interior existe um retábulo do século XVII. Em 1870, a capela foi deslocada do seu lugar primitivo em virtude da construção da linha férrea que se localiza a algumas dezenas de metros atrás. Sofreu obras de remodelação no ano de 1978, a expensas da antiga Fábrica Nacional de Relógios "A Boa Reguladora"."
