The bad thing is that, before you order, they bring bread, olives, tuna pate and cheese, but then you have to pay for those. Something like extra 10 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stumbled upon this place by accident. In the midst of all the tourist chaos and hodgepodge of subpar restaurants this is a real authentic Portuguese restaurant. The fish was very fresh, cooked nicely and the white house wine was surprisingly excellent. They serve and charge you for the bread, olives and cheese before your main course. It’s OK, don’t freak out, it will run about 5 euros. They don’t speak much English, but who cares, it’s Portugal, get used to it, that’s what makes it fun. I’ll be back again.

One star is seriously too much for this restaurant.We had already seen some bad reviews about overpricing the bill but we thought maybe it was just a bad experience of one of the visitors.
We have been welcomed in a very friendly way by the host wich made us directly go inside.
The host served us cheese and Bred that we politly said we didn't want, and at the end, he took advantage of the fact that we don't talk portuguese to keep it in the bill also ?.
For the olives, be aware that if you are 1,2,3 or 4... To eat in that little plate of olives, the price will be multiplied by the number of people ?.
When we told the host that there were some things in the bill that we haven't ordered nor eaten, he started talking in an unrespectfull way. My friends, do NOT go to that restaurant, you will for sure regret it.
