★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms absolutely fine. Pool good.
Small lounge and terrible bar service. Food poor and low standard. Often not very hot and not much choice.
Hotel is about a mile from the town down a very steep hill.
No local bars or shops. Taxis charge 5 euros each way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet hotel steep walk down into Carvoerio.. Rooms good size. Excellent snack food menu and bar service. Sunbeds and pool area good. Lovely terrace area.

-very simple breakfast
-rooms are ok, bit clairaudient
-staff, hmm…
-everything is really old

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice apartment hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. They come with fridge, kitchenette and sink. Swimming pool is quite big and well taken care of. Parking area for guests at hotel grounds. 5 odd minutes by car to Largo de Carvoeiro and 15 minutes on foot. If anything on the minus side: dinner menu needs a change. PS: is it too much to ask that the olive oil and vinegar stays in the table so the customer uses if he decides more seasoning is needed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the WORST hotels I have been at. Says 4 stars but really is not. I had a 2 week stay directly with the hotel, and unfortunately the first 3 days I had no access to a kitchen, the hotel didn’t not feel the hurry to fix their stoves so that our appartement could be properly functional. The rooms were merely cleaned, and just broomed and the sheets rearranged. When we were asked how often they change the sheets we were told by the manager of the bot it was twice a week, this was the first time I heard any such thing in any hotel in the world, but gladly thank I am now out of this hotel.
Covid rules were barely followed, no one has a mask, no social distance, anyone gets in, comes out, and sits next to each other around the pool.
Food is disgusting and the bar is empty, only had 2 liquors on the menu.
please spare yourself bad vacations like me and please book elsewhere.
I do not recommend this place to anyone I know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picked up clients from Carvoeiro Hotel today. They enjoyed their stay so much that on our way to the airport they booked a transfer with me for next month to take them back to the same hotel. ☺️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall we had an ok-ish stay.
Pros: big clean room with a big terrace, nice garden around the pool. Also, being quite far from the center and traffic, it's very quiet.
Cons: the common spaces look dated, the breakfast is very basic and each day is the same. I believe it shouldn't be graded as a 4 stars hotel, but as a maximum 3.
