★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Case da Ermida is an absolute gem offering tranquillity, beautiful surroundings and charming hospitality from owner Carlos and family. The renovation of the old farmhouse and the stunning views from the balcony overlooking the lake are breath taking. We watched the sun sets both nights we stayed and on the final night had a regional platter of ham and cheese, washed down with red wine on the balcony looking at the sunset akin to Turner's sun set paintings of London. Get away from it it all and treat yourself and just listen to the views!

Bedrooms are cosy, big toilets with big bath.
The couple here, Joao and Isabel are very friendly and helpful.
The place is warm, big fireplace and amazing view to the river.
