★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely auberge, lovely reception, good facilities, very nice garden and laundry facilities although could do with an extra shower and toilet. Nice cafe around the corner offering a very nice menu, not cordon bleu but just what would be needed. This auberge is an outstanding example of how it should be done. My thanks to the management!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small hostel in an old stone building in the yard of a house. There are two rooms; each with three bunk beds. Sheets and bedding is provided and the hosts are quite nice. Wine is available for purchase. There is a seating and laundry area in the back. The host was generous enough to gave us some port!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although it's small, this place is very welcoming. One room has three double bunks; the private room has a double and a single bed. All share the same bathroom and toilet.
Outside, there are several deck chairs, to enjoy the afternoon sun. There are also fruit trees (delicious figs!) and a laundry for hand washing (no machine).
It's a short walk (150m) into town. The lady provides port and coconut biscuits at dusk, and the bar nearby has reasonably-priced food for dinner and breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice Albergue. The main feature is the garden where you can enjoy the sun and the cats. It's small with six beds and a room with a double bed. There are some free treats but we received an extra one, good Porto wine with cakes for the three of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laura has done such a lovely job of making this space comfortable and relaxing. There are beverages for purchase, I really enjoyed not having to walk to get a cold beer after walking all day. She provided cereal, crackers and jam, coffee and tea for free. There was also a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable and their were lots of blankets available. The space was very clean. The shower was nice and there was body wash, shampoo and conditioner plus a towel. Great space to stop and rest.
