★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little hostel/hotel. Guys who run it are pretty sound. Location is a bit remote but a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town is fine to grab some supplies and food. Think they probably need to clean the place a bit more and there was a bit of a problem with the water supply but otherwise it was a nice stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice green and peaceful place (in a touristic village of dust) clean, friendly people, instead of what we’ve read above the towels and bedlinnen were clean and even smelled fresh. For us it wasn’t a problem but breakfast is late, after 9.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casa da Mata is what I would called "the paradise on the earth". Very close from the beach, this hostel is based in a quiet area and you will enjoy its lovely garden, with beautiful flowers AND an awesome swimming pool ! Very nice to refresh during the hot summer and very clean. The people who work there will welcome you very well and take care of you ! If you need anything, they are always happy to help. There are really good vibes there !!! I would recommend without hesitating. I loved it and will come back for sure! Thank you guys and particularly Martim the manager
