★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plenty of slightly old fashioned charm in this hotel that has been crammed full of old furniture and art objects by its antique shop owning propierter. Customers are mostly older " independent travelers" which gives the hotel a slightly staid feeling. Parking close by can be a challenge but you may get lucky and be able to park outside the front door. Good breakfast served by multi-lingual staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location AAA. Friendly, cultured staff. Nice fresh fruit on the bteakfast buffet but not enough healthy options for the rest, which is disappointing. In a country that grows such wonderful produce surely a sliced tomato can be made available as an alternative to cheese, cured meat and sugary jams! Nice little wine bar downstairs and beautiful furnishings throughout. A very comfortable stay.
