I really recommend ! Breakfast takes place at Casa Amarela across the street (where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mertola and the river).
R	Remco bood on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cosy place with an nice atmosphere. Having said that, renovation seems to have been done on a limited budget and although we were the only guests at the time, it seems it is noisy with very poor sound isolation. But then it is an old characteristic home....
G	Gudrun Graf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only stayed for one night. The place is lovely. Open chimney is great in winter, but I did not have matches or a lighter. There is a stove, coffee machine and a kettle, but it would be nice to have some tea/coffee/ and spices.

The caretaker makes the fire in the night, a true cozy vibe to make yourself at home. We arrived in low season so we had the privilege to own the common area with another 2 local travelers.
L	Loura Sita van Krimpen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the moment you step in you immediately feel the love and attention they’ve put into this space. It’s very cozy and a lovely space to spend the night. The lady who received us always had a smile on her face and made us feel very welcome. Our room had a full double bed (no gap between two single beds ?) - that in itself deserves a medal. And the shower was also fantastic, warm and good pressure. Furthermore, we could safely park our two motorcycles in front of the apartment. All in all, a great find for a very affordable price. Would recommend!
