A local place filled with tourists and inexpensive eats. Bifana @2.50, Pao 0.35 and Naranje orange [email protected]. Pork was soft but but as good as others, bread was spongy fresh.

You may think this is a tourist trap, since it's located right outside the metro station, but def isn't. Such a lovely, juicy bifana sandwhich. They could do better on chips, as the ones we got were stale, but nonetheless one of the best bifanas we've tried.

Amazing food and local tastes. It's in the touristic area mostly for local. Highly recommended ?

I'm really disappointed. We were so happy to find this place and the food tasted great but when the time for the bill came around, it was bigger than expected. The server tried to explain to us that it costs more to sit outside. When I asked more questions he produced receipts that didn't reflect what we ordered and explained that he rang in 3 sandwiches instead of 2 with french fries, and a separate check for the Expresso shots as one large coffee. We were kind and grateful to the man. It was weird and I feel completely cheated. I would not recommend this place to tourists unless you're ok with being scammed.

a good authentic street style restaurant with tasty food and friendly personnel. the thing I liked most about was, to watch some men eat or drink their food while standing in front of the counter and chatting with each other. menus are available in english and other european languages.

The waiter was nice and friendly, the food and the coffee was really good and inexpensive. More if you take into account the place where is located. The best: the Bifana. I really enjoyed it. 1 Bifana 1 jam and cheese croissant and 1 coffee with milk: total price=6.55 eur. I didn't like that we didn't get the check, the waiter just told us how much it was, that's why the review is 4.

If you are European I advise "alheira" sausage for only 6 euros it makes a lunch with a beer ? or a bottle of red wine "santo Isidro"(wine from the house). They serve half bottles. *I advise all the tourists to come were because: -tradicional food, -frequented by locals, so the prices are according to our wages, -and because is one of the most tradicional that you can find in Lisbon. -one of the criteria for know if the restaurant is good it's the soop/broth.

One of the cheapest bar and cafés in Lisbon and right beside the bus stop for the Yellow Hop on Hop Off Bus for Modern Lisbon and Belen Old Lisbon. Seems authentic- nothing fancy, but it is a popular spot with locals and tourists alike. Also the place to go for cheap snacks, breakfast and beers. Everything cheaper if ordered inside. The waiter appears to charge an additional premium for outside. Ask for a bill and a receipt to be certain. Next door there is a Dolls Hospital and small museum to entertain the children.
