Llegamos y nos abrieron muy rápido la puerta para poder meter el coche. Nos mostraron la habitación y nos explicaron todo muy amablemente. Horarios del desayuno y de la cena en caso de querer hacerla allí. Así fue, ¡qué acierto! La cena muy rica y la calma del sitio merecía el precio.
La habitación muy grande, lástima que no tuviéramos vistas al Duero, pero teníamos un precioso árbol. La cómoda bastante cómoda. Quizás el único pero, las toallas que eran un poco ásperas.
Desde la zona del desayuno hay una puerta para salir y contemplar el paraje... Os invito a amanecer un poco antes de la hora del desayuno (9h) y sentaros fuera a disfrutar de la naturaleza. Un regalazo.

We arrived and they opened the door very quickly for us to put the car in. They showed us the room and explained everything to us very kindly. Breakfast and dinner times in case you want to do it there. So it was, what a success! The very rich dinner and the calm of the site deserved the price.
The room was very large, too bad we didn't have views of the Douro, but we had a beautiful tree. The dresser quite comfortable. Perhaps the only but, the towels that were a bit rough.
From the breakfast area there is a door to go out and contemplate the landscape... I invite you to wake up a little before breakfast time (9 am) and sit outside to enjoy nature. A gift.
What beautiful views!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before we arrived, I found the Hollywood appearance on the website a bit off putting and I didn’t want to eat in because I thought it would be over engineered and a bit fake. In fact the design provided a bit of unusual, unexpected and very welcome luxury in an area dominated by quaint. The pool was to die for. I certainly didn’t go in but the setting for an early evening gin was unbeatable. Despite my concerns, the food was fabulous. Relatively simple but superb. Everything home made down to the yogurt and jam. The best ham we had anywhere including 5 days in Spain and a ham factory tour. It was obvious that the owners and staff wanted you to enjoy the place as much as they did. And we did.
