S	Silvia Araújo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fomos à casa de fados em Julho, chegamos um pouco mais cedo, a casa teria lotação máxima naquela noite. Pedimos as entradas e pressionadas a pedir os pratos principais já quando chegamos, pedimos os pratos principais, mas com a orientação de que deveriam ser servidos mais tarde. Enquanto ainda estávamos na entrada (15 minutos depois de termos pedido os pratos e com a orientação de que deveriam ser servidos apenas em 1 hora), um amigo sofreu um acidente e precisamos ir até o Hospital de Évora. Para nossa surpresa, a dona do restaurante nos cobrou a conta cheia, inclusive com os pratos principais. Não estou dizendo que é justo ou injusto, mas pagamos 75 euros sem comer NADA, foi um imprevisto muito triste e não tivemos empatia nenhuma por parte da dona. Além disso, ao tentar passar o multibanco o cartão não passava porque a máquina estava desconfigurada, tive que ir até um multibanco para levantar dinheiro (que ficava a 10 minutos dali, caminhada) porque também não foi possível pagar com MB Way e nem transferência. Enfim, foi uma noite muito triste para nós em todos os aspectos e ainda nos sentimos muito lesadas pela falta de empatia. Não voltaremos, ainda que a dona tenha tendado remendar quando voltei para pagar mais tarde naquela noite, nos convidando para voltarmos no outro dia. Ficamos muito chateadas. Triste. We went to the fado house in July, we arrived a little earlier, the house would have full capacity that night. We ordered the starters and pressured to order the main courses when they arrived, we ordered the main courses, but with the orientation that they should be served later. While we were still at the entrance (15 minutes after having ordered the dishes and with the orientation that they should only be served in 1 hour), a friend had an accident and we needed to go to the Hospital de Évora. To our surprise, the restaurant owner charged us the full bill, including the main dishes. I'm not saying it's fair or unfair, but we paid 75 euros without eating ANYTHING, it was a very sad unexpected event and we didn't have any empathy from the owner. In addition, when trying to pass the ATM, the card would not pass because the machine was unconfigured, I had to go to an ATM to withdraw money (which was 10 minutes away, walking) because it was also not possible to pay with MB Way or transfer. Anyway, it was a very sad night for us in all aspects and we still feel very hurt by the lack of empathy. We won't go back, even though the owner tended to patch it up when I came back to pay later that night, inviting us to come back the next day. We were very upset. Sad.

We arrived at 20:00 and were served our main dish at 22:30. Fortunately, the fado music kept us entertained. Worthwhile experience, but be prepared for a long sitting.
