Marco and Ana, the hotel owners, are such a lovely and caring hosts.
The location is in one of the most emblematic Douro valleys.
For wine lovers, like us, there are several tasting experiences to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed 3 nights at Casa do Arco and we absolutely enjoyed it. We had the Almond room which is stunning in terms of decoration and view on the valley. Marco and Ana are two passionated people in love with their region and you can definitely feel it ! We also tried the restaurant with very refined food, they pay attention to every details for you to feel at home. To sum up, a must stay place in the Douro valley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing and special stay. Marco, Ana and the team go the extra mile to keep you satisfied. The property is exceptional. The room, food, pool and views are breathtaking. Book now while you can because this hotel is bound to be fully booked soon!
On the drive to the hotel you will pass viewpoints (miradouros) along the road that are mentioned in all Douro valley guidebooks as "must do" activities. But the view by the pool with a glass of wine is even better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay with Ana and Marco at Casa do Arco was absolutely incredible. My husband and I have stayed at lots of wonderful places, but Casa do Arco was special because of the love and attention that Marco and Ana have put into it. It really is a labor of love and the experience was one that we will remember. They are both from Douro Valley and have a deep knowledge of the valley and its rich history. We did the immersive experience and gastronomic experience at the restaurant while we were there which really added to our experience. We would highly recommend staying at Casa do Arco-- it will be the highlight of your trip to Douro Valley, guaranteed.

We were warmly welcomed by Ana and Marco in this incredible property with stunning views over the Douro river, feeling at home right after stepping inside. The property is well decorated, all the details are well thought and the staff made us feel like the owners! It is the perfect place to enjoy some calm and relaxing time in a beautiful location. Fully recommend to couple this stay with an experience from Douro Exclusive with visits to nearby Porto vineyards, boat rides in the river and local cuisine: our guide Sandra made the experience an amazing one. We will surely come back!
