So so good - the vibe, the food, the service - everything was worth the price. Monkfish gratinée was creamy, fragrant and cooked to the point.

Read the reviews and went around 7.30 pm. It was quite empty but was asked if we’d booked ... seated at the back of the restaurant on our own. The front sea view tables were clearly for special people which remained empty whilst we were there. Others were welcomed to the front with and without reservations. Food was ok they didn’t have the shrimp & tomatoe tagliatelle nor sea bass available which I thought was somewhat strange. Nevertheless we had steak and 2 shrimp tagliatelle. BEWARE...when we were sat at the table initially we were offered prawns (6) and a (little) bean salad with bread and olives .. these were charged at €29.55!!! Food was ok but overpriced service good Will not return

We arrived on a very busy Sunday afternoon with no reservation and were met by a charming lady who made a plan. The restaurant is quite formal in a lovely setting. Bottom line the service is excellent the food is awesome. Starters we had seafood soup and a calamari and black bean salad with the bread and butter on the Table amazing, main course Sea food curry excellent but I had food envy when I saw the bacalhau com natas, accompanied by a lovely bottle of Rose I was in heaven. This is not a cheap restaurant but it’s top quality and you don’t mind paying for that when it’s accompanied by great service and a lovely ambiance, FULL MARKS

100% recommend this restaurant. We had the Seabass cooked in a thick crust of salt and it was probably the best fish we have ever eaten. Completely delicious food, attentive but not intrusive waiters, great wine, and lovely ambiance. We’ve eaten pretty well in Portugal but this was amongst the very best!

We ate there several times, both lunch and dinner. They quickly started to treat us as "regulars", trying to give us the same table with a view every time. Super friendly staff all around, and we really enjoyed the food and wine that was recommended. It's not a gourmet place, but the food is really authentic and prepared well.
