Unfortunately, the castle seem to be lacking some weeds maintenance at the time of our visit and, people around cannot stop themselves from leaving trash in the premises. Very disgusting behaviour. Still great place to visit, hangout or even a picnic. Needs more love, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderfully preserved Castle whose foundations go to the 10th century and saw layers upon layers or renovations and new tiers. Go to the underground tiny display of artifacts found on the premises from a broad range of centuries. Walk around the impressive battlements, and have a walk in the adjacent gardens.
