★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped at Castro Verde on our way from Lisbon to Algarve. Great place. Good fresh food and wonderful service. Be aware that it close by 16:00 mid day. Recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such helpful and happy staff... even though we didn't speak Portuguese and they didn't speak English. Lots of laughter interpreting the amazing menu. Excellent food, and like most of Portugal the house wine was damn fine :) Highly recommend this restaurant!
