S	Stijn Buurman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's not the most obvious place to visit as it is a graveyard, but I think it's a very impressive place! It's a little bit creepy though. When I visited there was almost nobody there. In the back of the graveyard you have a great view of the bridge.
h	herm dig on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a bit like walking through an estate of tiny houses where all the residents are asleep with the curtains drawn. A scene made a little more unsettling by the Saharan sand laden clouds creating a sepia tint on the day of my visit. The architectural variety is wonderful: everything from rigid classicism to holiday home fun. I found it interesting that most mausoleums do not list the occupants or, if they do, give the date of death. So if you are searching for relatives there is no visual clue. The area covered is vast. Every available space is filled and there is no grass or planting to break up the expanse of stone. Trees though are thoughtfully planted through holes in the roads giving shade that must be welcome in summer.
