The Day Center in Sandim is mainly welcoming to the elderly, but also welcoming to the youngest vulnerable. The essential work of this institution is the daily visit to the homes of vulnerable people to minimize suffering, thus providing professional support in hygiene and food for the elderly and sick users of the Parish of Sandim, Vila Nova de Gaia.
