★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an incredible ceramics workshop with Miguel! He shares his experience and knowledge with such passion, and offered us such a valuable and enjoyable experience. I can only recommend the Azulejos workshop for a moment of travel in time through the history and evolution of this artform at the heart of Portuguese cultural heritage. And doing your own tiles was so rewarding!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A happy coincidence lead me to this charming azuléjos shop for a proper immersion workshop in the beautiful world of painted ceramics. Miguel invited us to discover his passion and love for the story of this artcraft so deeply linked to the history of Portugal.
We then got to explore with our own hands the different techniques, either following existing patterns (some are tricky) or free to invent one of a kind ...
The result is a delight and a perfect little gift to bring back home. A really nice way to experience Lisboa out of the traditional touristic guidelines.
