★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh shellfish at sensible prices and yes they forget some things but you can’t get crab/prawns/clams/mussels all for 2 persons for under €25 euros, so excellent value for money and sea views along with free parking, so will be going again!

I wanted to know the bacalhau Sagres is prepared and the waiter instead of explaining said hé had more persons to serve, and if we did not decide was moving on. We asked for another colleague to take our order instead, which was denied. WE LEFT THE Restaurant and went elsewhere, we were served very well in the other restaurant! In the Cervejaria Sagres we had the worst possible experience. There is an ad asking for waiters “no experience needed”: That became very clear. A business concept that is doomed! Hans

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good sea food restaurant. Normally a queue to get a table so we waited ten minutes this evening. We chose the mariscada with lobster for two of us. Very good lobster, prawns, crab, sea snails, and my first time eating the weird barnacles ( perceves on the menu ). Washed down with a bottle of house wine. We added a toast with seafood and chips for more food. This restaurant has been popular for decades and it's easy to understand why. Great seafood, good service, good prices & can watch the sun go down on the western coast. At least 15 tables indoors and 30 outdoors in Covid time. Easy cheap car parking 50 metres away.
