Più tardi, nel 1987, fu inaugurata la Cappella dell'Adorazione, all'estremità del braccio meridionale del Colonnato, ora dedicata all'Angelo della Pace. Dal 13 luglio 2008, l’adorazione perpetua si tiene nella nuova Cappella del Santissimo Sacramento, che si trova nel complesso della Basilica della Santissima Trinità.
