O nome Chimarrão tem origem numa antiga tradição gaúcha. Herdada de povos indígenas, como os guaranis, esta bebida quente, à base de erva-mate, é servida num curioso recipiente de nome cuia e sorvida através de uma bomba que filtra a erva.
Diz a tradição que o chimarrão é para partilhar, num momento de descontração, num ritual a que se chama "Roda de Mate".
Esta roda de partilha inspirou o tradicional Rodízio Brasileiro, onde deliciosos cortes de carne vão rodando por todos os comensais.
No final da década de 70 o fundador do Grupo Chimarrão deixou-se cair para sempre na tentação do Rodízio Brasileiro.
Apaixonou-se pela qualidade e diversidade incomparável da carne. Pelo cuidado com que era preparada e depois grelhada.
Pelo rigor com que era cortada e servida. E pela imensa variedade de deliciosos acepipes que a acompanhavam.
Em 1980, o primeiro Chimarrão abre portas, oferecendo aos portugueses a mais genuína tradição do Rodízio Brasileiro.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top quality. It was recommended by a stranger outside who told us the food was good and cheap. We ordered drinks and the meal, went up and got salad, rice etc then a bloke comes round with meat on a skewer he cuts you off a bit, 2 minutes later and someone else comes out with a different meat and it repeats over and over. My plate evolved over the night. There were so many varieties of meat and you say when you've had enough. The food was good and cheap, just as advertised. We wish we'd found this place on our first night, not our last.

We went there for all you can eat in the Afternoon in around 16:00 and we have been told that it's only available from 19:00 and they offered us other choices which when we got served it was a leftovers and we had a piece of metal in the food, the glasses and ates were super dirty in this Covid Situation is unacceptable , while we were eating they started serving other people all you can eat barbecue, when we asked the waiter with wig in his head was super unprofessional and he started telling us lies something blaming Corona situation!!
Redicoulos experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good brazilian place to eat a lot of super good meat. The meat is really well seasoned and cooked with options from rare to medium rare. There's also a buffet for appetizers and sides and salad bar with nice variety. You leave feeling full and the price is worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really bad service (only the man who serves the meet seems to be in a good mood meaning that he speaks properly with guests). The staff seems to be annoyed by the work and just don't give enough attention to the customer. The food was kind of cold and not up to Brazilian standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Before COVID this used to be a great place to eat, nowadays you get table service only without being able to create your own plate at the buffet, the quality of the meat is still great tho. Also the prices for an all you can eat is good. Staff is very friendly.
