t	tara reddin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful - the interior is clad with tiles on every surface including the ceiling. The tiles depict various scenes from the Bible. The tiles are 400 years old. Worth a visit.

The inside is very beautiful blue and white painted tile, but they are very strict about taking no pictures at all inside and that was a major bummer for me. I think taking pictures is a great way to share the beauty with people who are unable to take the trip themselves. There is €2 admission fee for entry. There is no restroom or giftshop or explanations of the art or anything like that. The woman taking the fee was brusque and just because there are SO many gorgeous churches in Portugal, I wouldn't make a special trip to go here if you had to make a choice. If you're in the area, pop in and sit for a bit.
C	Clifford King on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous church absolutely worth’s visit. It costs €2 to get in and no pictures are allowed inside. But worth it to just be inside such a beautiful space if even a bit out of the way. Totally recommended!

R	Ricardo Barrios Ortego on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing church with tiles, very beautiful. Really worth to visit!!! 2 euros ticket. The church was closed from 6 to 20 Dec because the person who opens it was on holidays. There was a sign at the entrance. But it is opened regularly from today 21st Dec.

Entree € 2 and forbidden to take a picture as I don’t see the reason why because all over Algarve even the world is possible to take a picture and is only good for their income to taking care the church and employees as the church start to fall down.
