En su interior en la capilla mayor se pueden ver 16 tablas barrocas tanto de la vida de Jesús como de la Virgen . Cabe destacar también un bonito púlpito de hierro forjado . Una visita muy recomendable . Manuelino-style rectangular church with three naves. Inside, in the main chapel, you can see 16 baroque tables from both the life of Jesus and the Virgin. No fundo podem ver-se vários altares bastante decorados e pintados a dourado cada um com seu santo. Por cima da porta de entrada encontramos um painel de madeira trabalhada. XVI, no estilo manuelino, especula-se que possa ter sido construído por Boitaca, dadas as parecenças com os Jerónimos. Passada a fachada, com o portal manuelino, entra-se no interior com 3 naves da mesma altura. O retábulo é magnifico, de talha barroca e que tem na parede lateral 16 paneis atribuídos à escola de Grão Vasco. Interessantes ainda as duas outras capelas e vale a pena olhar para os pormenores da construção onde se vêm cruzes de Cristo e esferas armilares. The visit to the Mother Church is not to be missed!
