★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting church associated with The Templars vwey close to the Convent of Christ. My advice would be to come to this church first as the Convent of Christ is overpowering in its awesomeness and afterwards any other church just won't seem that impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must see in Tomar. It's a Templar church with lots of symbols of the Knights of Christ that had their settlement in Tomar. Pay attention to the Rosacea, the circular window with the painted glass and the back of the altar.

Knowing the history related to the church and the Templars influence may be of help navigating the church and the region.. interesting enough is that to enter the church steps go down, in contrast with most , if not all churches.

Unfortunately we couldn't get in, because we arrived there in the afternoon. There are particular time when it is open, you can see it on my pictures.
I recommend this church with all of my heart
