★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located right next to the Combatentes metro station, Restaurante Cidade (City Restaurant) is not far from the Marquês Square or the Antas Stadium, so you might want to include it in your route. I would definitely recommend doing so! If you like or want to try typical portuguese cuisine, this is one of the best places I've ever tried. Be very hungry or bring help, because even half a portion will feed two not so hungry people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live very near and we tried most of the menu. Their grilled chicken withdusky made fries is really good. They used to have day dishes which were incredible, but this has changed from the pandemic. Nevertheless, if you are in the area and feel like some grilled meat of fish plus some nicely cooked Portuguese dishes do go there, you won't regret it. Ps: i took one star out because the day dishes before were amazingly good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have tried a few "churrasqueiras" in Porto and I keep going back to this one. They raised their prices recently, so value is a but down, but quality is consistently good. Good for take out or eat in. Very traditional.
