★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty good especially the fish. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. When it comes to meat make sure the waiter understands whether you want the meat well /medium or under done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't express how much I love this place. Great food, with a great atmosphere and waiters who have been working there for years. Shout out to Victor! It has been getting slightly more expensive over the years, but when the food is this good it's understandable. From the garlic and carrots to the steak on the stone, I'll forever be coming back to Ribeiro's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our favourite restaurant in the Almancil, val do Lobo area. It is basic, but last time we visited 80% of the diners (over 50 people) were Portuguese. The tablecloths are paper, but the atmosphere is “buzzing”. There is a wonderful fish counter and meat counter, from where you can chose your food, from a small fish for 1 to much bigger fish serving 3-4 people. The steak on a stone is always popular. To finish there is a great variety of Portuguese sweets like “Molotov” or Almond tart. Again these can be chosen from the chill cabinet. The fact that so many Portuguese go here is testimony to the quality and value for money. We always come here when we are in the Algarve.
