O Clube Naval Praia da Assenta fica localizado na antiga lota deste porto de pesca, mesmo na falésia. As suas grandes janelas permitem ter uma vista fenomenal para o mar. No entanto, o grande destaque é o peixe sempre fresco grelhado. A decoração é predominantemente piscatória, o que nos leva a estar mais próximos da realidade local. O peixe e marisco são vendidos ao quilo para que assim o cliente esteja envolvido na decisão da porção que irá degustar. As iguarias que poderá saborear são de grande variedade: caldeirada de peixe (por encomenda), fritada mista, fritada de choco, pampo, sargo, pargo, dourada, garoupa, pregado, cherne, imperador, goraz, robalo, cantaril, linguado, percebes, camarão e amêijoas e lingueirão á bulhão de pato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding! We had clams followed by grilled fish and we couldn't have left more happy. The fish was as fresh as it could be. The place also has an amazing location where you have a sea view. It is a bit expensive yes, but quality like this has a price. Overall, strongly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good, but a bit pricey. We had a Dorada for 2 - around 1kg. This cost 40€(!!!). In a supermarket, this will cost ~7€. I find this unacceptably high for Portugal standards, especially since this is in the middle of nowhere.
On the positive side, the food was very good, the service highly attentive and friendly. Great views onto the ocean, especially at sunset on a clear day. Wine is fairly priced (approximately 100% markup on retail prices). Card payment accepted.
Overall rounding up to 4 stars, but I’d be very careful when ordering fresh fish that is priced by the weight.
