C	Chloe Knowlden on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a serene and unique escape... Cocoon is the place for you! It is within the most beautiful rural setting, yet only a 12-15 minute drive from local beaches and towns. Cocoon hosts its own lake, an outside Yoga pine shala, peaceful, communal space and heaps more. The rooms are clean and simplistic. The management and staff are second to none and incredibly helpful. Food is fresh; I really enjoyed eating the food picked from the land - tomatoes from the vine are 10/10. It's also great to recognise that the team are very conscious about compost, recycling & waste! A personal highlight for me is definitely the lake area - a small dock overlooks the water, paddle-boards & sun-beds ready to be used and it's so peaceful. There are hammocks here, there and everywhere... You may occasionally have a peacock or two to share with! I would recommend popping to Almograve or Calvalhal for some ocean views & into Zambujeira Do Mar for dinner - Piccolino & Sol Dourado were delicious! I would love love love to come back to Cocoon and stay again! I cannot thank Anton & the Cocoon team enough for facilitating such a memorable summer. See you soon!

The coastal farm is an amazing place in the middle of beautiful nature to recharge your batteries, to let go, to heal and transform. It's a professional yoga spot (indoor & outdoor shala) with all props and equipment you need. You are served the best regional and seasonal soul food you could wish for. Also the pizza night was so much fun and delicious. The whole team welcomed us warmly and took care of us in such an amazing way. We felt like being at home with a big family - with the Cocoon crew and the animals walking by. We will definitely come back again to share this magic with more friends and yogis. THANK YOU AGAIN! Coming from Morocco, the beautiful eucalyptus forest behind the farm reminds me of home, as well as the majestic Atlantic ocean just a few minutes drive away from the property. But what I like the most is the peace I feel whenever I'm there. There's just something about this place that calms my heart beat and puts my soul to ease. The last time I visited Cocoon was for my annual break from work in October 2020. I arrived tired and burnt-out. Day after day, I could see myself come back to life. I don't know if it was the sun, the open spaces, the delicious food, the natural sounds of animals around us, the gorgeous night skies full of stars or the relaxed vibe around this place. Probably all of this together! Go there if you're looking for a place to rest and recharge – it's definitely one of my favorite spots on this planet. Oh, and a special mention to the farm dog, Sam, who guided me on a walk in the forest from start to end, frequently turning back to check if I was following him. Talking about connecting with an animal!!! ❤️

Everything is done intentional and with 100% integrity. It’s a place to lose track of time and disconnect from the rest of the world. The property is just beautiful and offers everything one could dream off. Goats,sheep, chickens, peacocks...a beautiful lake to refresh yourself or read a book at....fresh vegetables and herbs are also being grown. The food here is just too good to ever want to leave this place. All in all, cocoon is a must see and ‘go to` if you’re looking for a place to switch off and indulge into the beauty of life.

It’s a warm, welcoming space where everything is thought and done with so much care and intention. The farm has beautiful intimate spots scattered on the property to recharge which is very appreciated when living in a community setting. The rooms are gorgeous and clean with a beautiful morning light (!). The lake has its own magical feel to it and is a biodiversity hub on the farm. All common spaces are safe and welcoming, the food is amazing… I can’t say enough good things about this place. Thank you Anton and Tony as well as the entire staff for your radical care and kindness.

Everything is absolutely perfect at the farmhouse, from the surrounding area with the lake, animals, pine trees to the delicious, healthy food and the professional, friendly staff. Marina, Anna and Raphi are an extraordinary team and we felt very supported. We loved it here and definitely come back very soon for our next retreat. So grateful for this space.
