★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comment dire... Habitant Tavira, je me suis présenté aujourd'hui devant cet établissement pour réserver 3 nuits pour des amis parisiens. Je désirais visiter l'hôtel afin de leur donner mon ressenti et leur conseiller une des suites... Que nenni! On m'a laissé dans la rue, derrière la grille, en m'expliquant sommairement qu'il y avait un site de réservation avec de très belles photos, ce qui est indéniable... Toutefois, ce n'est pas la conception que j'ai de l'accueil dans l'hôtellerie! Et je précise que j'ai dirigé durant 18 ans des journaux professionnels du Tourisme et que j'ai une petite idée de ce qui doit se faire... Enfin. puisqu'on lit que c'est un hôtel de charme, on est obligé de le croire. Enfin presque!
 How to say... Living in Tavira, I showed up today in front of this establishment to book 3 nights for Parisian friends. I wanted to visit the hotel in order to give them my feelings and recommend one of the suites... Nope! They left me in the street, behind the gate, briefly explaining to me that there was a reservation site with very nice photos, which is undeniable... However, this is not the concept that I have hospitality in the hotel industry! And I specify that I directed during 18 years of the professional newspapers of Tourism and that I have a small idea of what must be done... Finally. since we read that it is a charming hotel, we are obliged to believe it. Well almost!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For an EXTRA ordinary experience, this is probably the BEST place to stay on the Eastern Algarve. There are just 19 rooms, each individually themed from destinations as varied as Marrakesh and Panama. Some have their own pool and two are in the converted Chapel. Set in a very old School, laterly a College (hence the name) the husband and wife owners, have lovingly and painstakingly created a true Gem.
What truly makes Charm House stand out from the crowd though, is the people.
From the warmth of the welcome, the care and cleanliness, to the freshly baked cake on arrival (or anytime) and the genuine concern that you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. They really cannot do enough.
Special Tip: They offer a theme 'Secret Menu' dinner, on site, on a couple of evenings a week - Do not miss them. You have a choice from Fish, Meat, Prawns or Vegetarian. They note any allergies and then do the rest.
It's a truly memorable experience and the food is exquisite.
It is genuinely so good, it only opened in July 21 and we have already visited twice.
