★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is THE supermarket in the Algarve. Everything you need for the home and the choices for cheeses, breads, wines, clothes etc is mind blowing. Get your readymade snacks as well the queueing system of check out is second to none. Very well organized and excellent prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After shopping here for a year and a half, I would give this shopping center a zero star review if possible. I went today to get a birthday gift for my friends wife and some groceries.
I was cut off and treated like dirt for no reason by multiple staff members whom were just doing inventory. After waiting for 15-20 minutes in line with my family with no consideration for my 5 month old daughter and two other young children, the women incorrectly scanned my purchase. I then left my wife and kids at the cashier and took a picture of the sign to expedite the process. The cashier after seeing the picture called two separate people to verify the price after opening the box, rendering the package useless. After doing all this she then dropped my phone Huawei mate 20 pro, on the rough abrasive metal of the scanner scratching the back.
I've had my phone for over two years in immaculate condition, and was appalled at the way it was treated. Being completely frustrated after 30 minutes of trying to simply pay for my groceries and other items I simply abandoned my purchases.
After helping my wife and kids to the car, I did try and speak with customer service about what had happened and even showed them the damage on my phone, their solution was to call over the cashier and manager that had caused this whole situation. This would have only made the situation worse and so I declined and said I will shop somewhere else in the future.
DO NOT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME. AND BE TREATED POORLY!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Continente is one of few mostly spread hypermarket chain in Portugal. The one in Algarve Shopping is enormous. I can't name any item you can't find in it. Also range of toiletries and interior items is impressive. Also it offers a range of eco and local goods.
