★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Faz bastante falta à população local, precisamente por ser o meio de transporte mais adequado entre casa/trabalho. É uma alternativa bastante viável ao carro e ao autocarro. Por isso, esta estação costuma de ter bastante movimento.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esqueçam todo o tipo de informação transmitida pela MTS e funcionários, poderá a mesma ser falsa. Durante um largo período questionei os vários postos de venda sobre a existência de passe mais barato para estudantes. A resposta dada foi sempre negativa tendo pago sempre o valor standard mensal. Em conversa com outros pais no passado mês de Abril, informaram-me que o passe estudante estava em vigor desde 2017, mas que efectivamente tinham sido informados pela TST e não pela MTS. Para tal teria somente de solicitar a emissão /clonagem de um novo cartão de passe completamente gratuito. Dado não necessitar do serviço da TST, recorri como habitualmente á MTS. O cartão tinha um custos de acordo com a urgência como se fosse um cartão normal, dado ter de adquirir o passe paguei mais uma vez o valor standard. De seguida dirigi-me á TST/Cacilhas na hora clonaram o passe da minha filha a custo zero. Durante dois anos que paguei o passe sem desconto que poderia ter usufruído durante +- 24 meses !!! Sem mais comentários.................................

In conversation with other parents last April, I was informed that the student pass had been in force since 2017, but that they had actually been informed by TST and not MTS. For this you would only have to request the issuance / cloning of a new pass card completely free. Given that he did not need the TST service, he went as usual to MTS. The card had a cost according to urgency as if it were a normal card, having to acquire the pass I paid once again the standard value. Then I went to TST / Cacilhas at the time cloned my daughter's pass at zero cost. For two years I paid the pass without discount I could have enjoyed for + - 24 months !!! No further comments .................................

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to get the tram and ferry to Lisbon.
Went to automated ticket machine on the tram platform as you do in any transport hub.
1. NON Portuguese bank cards do not work in the automated ticket machine. No mention of this on the machine.
2. No paper money accepted at this ticket machine. This was not apparent as it did not say this anywhere on the machine.
3. English language selected by pressing all buttons as not apparent on this machine. Its the button on the left.
So only coins accepted. Went to the information/ticket kiosk hidden in the trees.
The lady spoke English (checked first) and told her what we wanted, 3 tickets to Lisbon using the tram and ferry. I knew you could get a ticket that works on all transport systems and only pay for 1 card.
She gave us a tram return which was €6.60 including €1.50 for the 3 cards.
Got tram to the ferry and handed in the 3 cards to pay for a the ferry and the guy told us the woman gave us tickets only for the tram that could not be used on the ferry. Had to pay another €1.50 for 3 new tickets that can be used on all transport systems.
NOT user friendly and NOT a good introduction to Portugal...
