I went here in summer. Super friendly staff and clean camping! On walking distance to a nice little town. One of my best camping experiences

We’ve waited for 1hour at the checkin line with only 4 people in front of us. The process takes too long and doesn’t make any sense. In other camping places the checkin takes 10 min maximum and is super smooth. The place that was assigned to the van was occupied by others, we went to the checkin again and another place was assigned. Surprising, the second place was also occupied by others. Only at the 3 time we we’re able to get a spot. The entire camping only have one bathhouse. In the morning is chaotic to use the bathroom or the showers. In the end, to expensive for what they have to offer.

Normal camping, I think I paid around 15 EUR for 1 person with a tent and motorcycle. The washing machine costs 4.50 EUR, the tumble dryer the same and you have to bring your own detergent.

Have not visited this site for 2 years. In the area so came back with friends. We both had ACSi cards and used them 2 years ago and were located in the nice part of site. We also had our dogs with us then (as now). Things have changed. ACSi pitches were limited and allocated in the poorer part of the site @ €18 inc 1 dog. On sand. Not great when with dogs. If however we wanted to avail of the nicer hardstanding pitches likes last time at €24 the dogs would then command an additional €12 when added to the site fee. Out of season that makes this a very very expensive stop, with no pool. Enquired at the restaurant for dinner that evening and was told dogs were not welcome. Again fine in full season when warm and seated outside, but it would appear that coming in here with dogs is both awkward and expensive. Overall the park is still very well kept and the lady in reception was helpful and friendly and spook (Halloween today) excellent English. But won't be coming back here.....ever.

Just spent 10 nights here, absolutely perfect for coast and walks and lovely restaurants. Facilities on site are fine, think we experienced end of season malaise with erratic shop/Restuarant openings and pool closed unexpectedly yesterday 6/10 however didn’t spoil our stay and would still recommend and return.

Lovely campsite/holiday park, great welcome and very friendly, toilet and showers the best we've come across on our trip. The small village is lovely and plenty of small bars restaurants.

We came here on the strength of the Yelloh Village brand. Our experience is of high standards. Costa do Vizir has been part of Yelloh Village since 2019. The site itself had obviously been there for a long time (there is an abandoned toilet block). The reception and entrance area is good staff are friendly and multi lingual. You can go in and choose a pitch from what's available. We managed to get a large, well drained gravel pitch with own water tap - they proved more popular than the sandy /grassy pitches elsewhere. One slight inconvenience was the people from the pitches behind us had to plug / unplug their electricity from 'our 'side - walking across our pitch - they cannot access the EHU boxes from their pitches. It's a large site with many shady pitches great for the summer not for winter / spring. There is a small pool (open later in the year). There are a lot of new looking chalets which look very nice. The toilets and showers looked relatively new - less than half were open. They were clean but toilet cubicles had open top bins, not what I expect from Yelloh Village. With so few cubicles open they fill up quickly & smell ?. I did see the cleaner come from a toilet cubicle & go straight to clean a sink with the same cloth, gloves & cleaning material. Not ideal, maybe she needs retraining. Looking clean and being hygienically clean are very different. The timers on the PIR sensors for the lights were very short meaning you had to wave hands about so as not to be plunged into darkness. There is a nice area for washing up inside - it would have been perfect had we ever been able to get water as hot as the showers. We would run the tap for 10 minutes or more just to get warm water (waste of water ?). The showers got hot almost instantly. The shop was not open - unless you rang a bell - it had next to nothing in it. The bread they sell is available in Porto Covo, less than half a mile away. The restaurant was not open as stated on the information we were given on arrival. We could never tell when it was open so we went into the village instead. There are a selection of eateries to choose. Wednesday seemed to be a day when everywhere was closed. There are a couple of small supermarkets and a traditional indoor food market, which sells fresh fish,, veg etc..in Porto Covo. The village itself has suffered from a couple of large abandoned building projects which are ugly. Once past those it's quite quaint. The coast is dramatic, the Fisherman's Trail is about 500m away from the site, lots of small beaches. The campsite is a 'work in progress', you can see elements of the old and the new. They have planted a lot of hedging between pitches that will need a few years to afford any privacy. With more investment it will become a 5* site We paid €18 per night with ACSI
