Probably the best restaurant in a radius of 50 km. Very good food, nice ambiance and a very good wine list. The only thing is that they should change the menu a bit more often but that is probably because I live in the area. For the rest, nothing but compliments

Delicious food and nice staff. The only thing that was not perfect were the overcooked shrimp (so this should be a 4.5 star review), but that was easily forgotten after tasting the rest of our meal. The desserts were perfect. I hadn't had such a perfect chocolate fondant in years and the pavlova was fresh and fruity, not overtly sweet. I advise anyone wanting to visit to make a reservation in advance.

The decor is still in transition, but the staff are competente and pleasant, but the food was the star of the day & whatever dish you choose you will not be disappointed. The prices reflect the gastronomic evolution that's occurring. I will certainly return.

A small jewel in the Serra da Estrela. Very good food. Good wine menu. For sure the best place to have an excellent meal in this fantastic village.

Lovely restaurant. Can recommend tomato soup and warm breaded cheese with jam (2 items). Service was fast for us.

The partridge soup is special, very exciting dish, good flavours and the pastry is a unique touch. On the dessert menu they claim to have the best sponge cake in the universe. I haven't tried their sponge cake, but I also haven't been to the entire universe (yet) so I could not verify their claim. I only had the soup which was excellent, and the bacalhau was super mediocre, the chickpea sauce did not appear fresh, it looked tired, it could use some freshening up, they still have to refine the recipe. Overall, it is a nice place, nice ambience, it is located in a basement, ideal for romantic dinners, it's literally in the middle of nowhere, I drove 30 minutes each direction and was the only car on the road both ways. Quite a few dangerous curves on the way there so if you are driving at night please drive slowly and safely. I will be back for the partridge soup for sure. Thank you.

Very good restaurant . The food is delicious and of high quality. The wine list is impressive. The service however was slow . Everything else said is great
