★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Middle way between Manteigas and the highest point of Portugal, there is an idilic place where people can have a picnic, right next to Zêzere river and the largest glaciar valley of Europe. It could be a little bit more preserved though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for some r&r in the middle of nature, with lots of green, peace and quiet. Best to come here in “wetter” seasons rather than summer time when the water flows have dried, but it’s still worth the visit, especially if you’re going upwards to the top of the mountain.

Very cold in the Winter. Definitely don't loose this place. Must to be there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, surrounded by the mountains and really close to the Tower. It’s windy in the Autumn, but it’s worth the visit for a walk and a picnic. You can park in the road outside beside the entrance.
