★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agendei o meu passaporte online. O sistema de agendamento é intuitivo e consegui vaga para uma data com tempo de espera razoável.
Cheguei mais cedo e perguntei a segurança se havia a possibilidade de ser atendida mais cedo. A segurança, muito simpática e prestativa disse me que chamaria por ordem de chegada e que, caso alguém faltasse, poderia ser chamada mais cedo. E assim foi.
A senhora que me calhou é que ou estava sob efeito de mercúrio retrógrado ou então não tem mesmo perfil para atendimento ao público.
Podia ter me dito de forma simpática que não posso renovar o meu passaporte faltando um ano para vencer. Em vez disso, questionou o porquê de eu ter entrado mais cedo, atirou com o meu passaporte e com o meu cartão de cidadão para o meu lado da mesa e disse me que não podia fazer o passaporte com tanto tempo de antecedência. Expliquei que estou a pensar emigrar e que como sei que os atendimentos nos consulados podem ser complicados de conseguir, que gostaria de já viajar com o passaporte renovado. Isto claro, quando me deixou falar. Porque até então, fez questão de se ouvir a si mesma a repetir a mesma coisa e, por fim, disse me que explicasse a minha situação ao SEF( órgão emissor do documento) ou então me desenrascasse a fazer depois num consulado qualquer… Por isso, para ela, uma estrela, porque não existe a possibilidade de dar zero.
Não me recordo da última vez que fui atendida por alguém tão mal humorada. Não me ocorreu perguntar-lhe o seu nome. Se o tivesse feito amanhã de manhã faria uma oração na igreja para ver se as coisas melhoram na sua vida. É que pessoas felizes não tratam as pessoas assim!…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My local freguesia has a more modern on-site queuing system. First, they couldn't find my appointment even though I did it online and I had a confirmation email with a code. How is that possible. Second the woman who was handling the walk-ins was all over the place, forgetting who was first and who was next. Why not install a simple digital ticket system for those who walk - in? There's no excuse anymore - government offices need to be super digitized and automatic to handle crowds, both appointments as well as walk - ins.
