“O antigo depósito, agora rebatizado como ‘Torre da Água’, será adaptado como miradouro e pequeno observatório astronómico”, anunciou o presidente da Junta, Carlos Casimiro.
Para a valorização do património da Freguesia de Agualva e Mira Sintra, assumiu como um dos seus compromissos a requalificação do antigo depósito de água.
O projeto está ainda em fase de conclusão, mas a obra da responsabilidade da Junta de Freguesia, implicará um investimento, na ordem dos 30 mil euros, no decorrer do próximo ano.

"The old deposit, now renamed 'Water Tower', will be adapted as a viewpoint and small astronomical observatory", announced the President of the Board, Carlos Casimiro.
In order to enhance the heritage of the Parish of Agualva and Mira Sintra, the renovation of the old water deposit was taken on as one of its commitments.
The project is still being concluded, but the work under the responsibility of the Parish Council will involve an investment, in the order of 30 thousand euros, over the next year.
