★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a charming couple with a lovely restaurant looking across to Spain. The food brought in all of Portugal's global influences (Goa and Mozambique in particular) and we had one of our best meals here. We really enjoyed the sunshine and relatively quiet historical street.

I came alone and told I would like to have a glass of wine and that's all.
They bring me wine, asked me what food I will order- I told them I'm here only for a glass of wine. They told me I can't stay here, because it is RESTAURANT and they need this table for dinner.
That is horrible service.
I paid for this vine and went out.
I needed just 20 min to wait for my friend.
Bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fabulous eatery. I have to be honest, I chose this restaurant because I liked the owners reply to a reviewer. Among many excellent reviews, one diner was not a happy fella, but I liked the way the owner dealt with him. What I found was a quaint, authentic, executed with love, spot on the river with beautiful artwork and lovely jazz. The husband and wife team who own this gem have created a winning dining experience that will delight your senses.

Tuna or steak on the hot stone a good choice slong with great saucers
Size dishes such as seafood pate are a miss
Fantastic orange cake is a real must , photo attached

The food was so good..
Mushrooms and bacon so tasty.
Goa fish curry the best, partner had salmon also very good.
The hosts were so friendly, enjoyed my chat with Carlos, a very interesting man.
We are looking forward to returning, we live in Algarve so it will be no problem.
Thoroughly recommend it...thanks Carlos and his wife.
