The hotel is located 3m walk from Marques Pompal metro station about 25m walk to the city centre.
It is close to a minimarket and a couple of places where to eat.
The hotel is very clean even if don't like the carpet.
Breakfast is what you expect from a hotel: english breakfast, continental breakfast, fruit, yogurt etc
I would racommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine and friendly staff, rooms are a bit small but everything is clean and OK. The included breakfast was nice, fresh and tasty, more than enough choices. The hotel is close enough to the city centre an to a metro station. A nice place to stay in Lisbon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reasonable hotel. I would suggest aimed more at the businessman than family on holiday (I was on business). Comfortable rooms although my first room was particularly noisy, but was quickly moved room the following morning on my request with no problem. Staff attentive and helpful. Breakfast tasty enough, with good Portuguese custard tarts available.
20min walk to the centre of Lisbon, or 2 min walk to the metro which is nice and simple to use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a standard double room with en-suite bathroom. The room was compact and the bathroom very small. That apart the Hotel was doesn't staff friendly and helpful breakfast very good and the location is very good. Plenty of restuarants & cafes on the doorstep old town and Rossio station 10 minutes walk away. Good value for money and I would recommend the Dom Carlos Liberty to friend's though perhaps not to the larger built or tall ones.
