★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing meal! The food was spectacular, fresh, complex, extremely tasty, and fantastic presentation. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended! The pork belly and duck were notably exceptional!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food. Nicely balanced menu and a great wine list which features both Portugese and Aus/NZ bottles. Warm, friendly service in a casual but intimate space. The tuna wasabi starter was amazing. An easy five stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just arrived in Lisboa. was looking for somewhere to eat and found Downunder as one of the top restaurant. The food was unbelievable!!! 5 stars and our server Miguel was top notch great guy and great server/host making us feel welcome/great conversation. Can't recommend this place enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible Black Angus beef with many complimentary flavour nuances alongside. The cauliflower was so good, I wish there'd been more of it. Very friendly and professional staff. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for the full 8 course tasting menu, affordable top class food this is a real gem. Great atmosphere and friendly staff too. We were initially attracted by the novelty of Australian food but will be going back because of the outstanding quality of all the dishes.
I cant think of another tasting menu that has been so consistently impressive. Thanks for a brilliant evening.
