★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy spot featuring live traditional Portuguese music. Friendly staff, decent small bites, though not a huge selection. Full to capacity, you should probably make a reservation, though the owner was nice enough to make room for us in the back when we showed up without a reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful evening of Fado performed so beautifully and passionately at this small but cosy bar. Loved how the ambience changed with each song, sometimes sad and tragic and then suddenly upbeat with customers singing and clapping along. The quality of the musicians and singers remaining excellent throughout. Great service and welcome by the owner of the bar! Highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place with great Fado performance and cosy atmosphere. We were there on a Saturday and there were 6 different performers both male and female. The staff is super friendly and made our visit very comfortable. Highly recommend this place for an authentic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite limited fado knowledge, we felt in safe hands at this bar to enjoy a new form of music in a very relaxed atmosphere. It’s very intimate, starts at around 8pm and you can order from a limited menu of tapas and drinks - we had the cod and chickpea tapas and the cheese board and that was enough for both of us for three hours. We watched multiple singers (5 or 6) take turns to perform - all of whom were beautiful to listen to. The owner is really lovely and friendly. This will be my number 1 recommendation to anyone visiting Lisbon for an authentic cultural experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Helder is a very friendly and a great guy and the performances were super good.
We have seen around 7-8 performances at one night.
Very tasty tapas/food and authentic environment. Certainly recommended.
Watch google maps’ description, we had difficulty to spot it, however it is there :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for that down to earth, hole in the wall, authentic experience that makes you laugh and maybe cry at the price of a regular bar, look no further. This is where the locals go and where tourists are welcome. I had an amazing experience here and just felt right at home. If I lived in Lisbon I would come every night and am glad to have found it on my weekend trip. Classy and fun. I hope it never changes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a table for the 'Noites de Fado' and had a phenomenal experience. The music and singing was incredible. The beer and cheese went down well, while the Caiprinha was lovely. Service in this delightful bar is excellent but it's for the Fado that all seats are filled.
7 singers, 3 musicians, duets, some acting as chorus, it was Incredible and a wonderful introduction to this uniquely Portuguese genre of music.
The Fado Guitarist was unbelievable, his effort and commitment to the music and attentiveness to the singer, paying off to our benefit.
Wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the ambiance, the intimate setting and the amazing singers and musicians, that I just can't help but rate this place with 5 stars. Lisboa is an amazing city, and this "fado cafe" is just one of the many reasons. Highly recommend!
