Park with immense potential. Its area should be extended southwards, to Quinta das Cabreiras and Quinta do Perú, including through the renaturalization of the area occupied by Francisco Lopes & Filhos Lda (former reeds).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for walking and enjoying nature. There are varied habitats for wildlife, including a very large pond, as well as smaller ones. There are areas for birdwatching and information plaques showing what species have been seen at the park. I enjoyed my visit there. The Ecological Park Da Varzea Da Quinta Do Conde could easily be missed unless you know where it is but it is certainly worth exploring, and is one of the 'hidden' gems of Quinta Do Conde for naturalists and for people who appreciate getting out and about in the natural world. It is amazing to think that this haven for wildlife is so close to a busy road and local supermarkets but it is there and I recommend it.
