Na sua totalidade o desnível não é muito elevado o que a torna acessível a todos e qualquer tipo de utilizador. Recomendo A great journey, however there is a part of it still nearing completion. In its entirety the gap is not very high which makes it accessible to all and any type of user. I recommend

As barras verticais, que colocam ao longo da ciclovia, no meio do caminho, para impedir que os carros entrem pela ciclovia, são perigosas. E não sei se já alguém se matou ao esbarrar com aquilo. Enfim. Erro grave de estruturação de um iluminado qualquer. Excellent bike path, with great views. But it has a very serious detail. The vertical bars, which they place along the cycle path, in the middle of the way, to prevent cars from entering the cycle path, are dangerous. And I don't know if anyone has killed themselves by bumping into it. Anyway. Serious structuring error of any lighting.

Great landscapes and very well preserved along the way, it's just a pity that the old Amarante station is in a deplorable state.

Estação de Amarante está abandonada, uma pena Strong points: section between Arco de Baúlhe and Celorico de Basto, and between Amarante and Chapa Weaknesses: section between Chapa and Lourido nearing completion, with few shadows and passing through a eucalyptus grove without the beauty of the rest of the route. Today we discover a little more of the Tãmega Line Ecotrack. J	Joost van der Spruit on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderfully relaxed bike ride today on the Ecopista of do Tamega under the excellent guidance of Amarantrilhos.pt We had reserved the bikes with transfer by phone. On arrival the bikes were ready and after a ride of 35 minutes we could start at the highest point of the route. The mountainbikes were in perfect condition and the tour is mostly slightly downhill; so very relaxed. The route and the surroundings are beautiful with plenty of places to stop along the way. Highly recommended even with small children (if they are used to cycling).
