I made a rental contract and asked EDP to enable power supply, sent them a copy of contract, and additionally an agreement for water sipply and one of the previos utility bills, just to prove my identity andcaddress correctness. And still they refuse to do what they are supposed to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Careful when you get a contract at EDP in Albufeira. We went there to change a contract from one name to another. After a couple of days they send you the contract by email to confirm. If you don't reply to the email within a certain time then you agree with the contract they sent you. Suddenly they added a service for an extra €14,95 a month which you have to pay for at least a year. The contract is in Portuguese so if you don't read Portuguese it will be quite likely you sign for this absolute useless service. EDP itself never gave me trouble but would never ever go back to this EDP shop. We complained however don't think anything will be done for this not to happen again.
